Great vids! I'm remembering a video that seems like it was a claymation type of vegetables doing odd things from the mid to late 90's set to accordian type of pop music. Do any of you remember something like this? And lyrics? wish i remembered any.

Brilliant idea for a list. I really liked the Blur and Radiohead videos and of course thriller is a classic. However, I gotta say, the Whites Stripe's "Fell in Love with a Girl" is definitely one of the most creative videos I've ever seen.

Fair assessment Will.
A lot of great technology came onto the market years ago and their upgraded versions haven't proven to be much better than earlier versions.
We'd never want our students to deceive their parents so they could get new cell phones, iPods etc. We wanted to point out some benefits for both parents and students about purchasing new technology and hopefully we accomplished that.
At the end of the day, our suggestions aren't meant to be taken too literally, just a fun guide to how you may be able to get new technology.
Thanks for your comment!

The only issue I have with this video is that it seems like you're telling people to lie to their parents.

The latest and greatest in Smartphones might be faster and prettier than their predecessors, but functionally speaking they do next to nothing that their predecessors didn't, or at least they don't in terms of anything that would be scholastically relevant.

I mean, I guess you could make the argument that only the latest and greatest have really high-functioning applications for things like Facebook, and that this allows you to network with your peers more effectively, but does anybody's professional fate really hang in the balance over such efficiency while still in school or shortly thereafter? Does it ever?

I really, really doubt it. And while I know there has been some adoption of this stuff by higher-ups, it does remain largely a tool to be in touch with your cohorts, with whom 'networking' is largely irrelevant for a long period of time. They really can't help you anymore than you can help them.

Don't get me wrong, Melissa - it's a well-done video, and I know your job is to drink this social media kool-aid by the truckload, but some of what seems to be implied here seems like a bit much.
